The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX 5 is the advanced level of Signia's MaX platform and, for most active wearers, the sweet spot of the range. It runs the same Acoustic Intelligence system as the MaX 7 - four deep neural networks analysing speech, your own voice, your surroundings and background noise together - with RealTime Conversation Enhancement AI at high strength, a dedicated focus stream for group conversations, SpeechFocus for speech beside or behind you, the Reverberant Room Program and 36 processing channels. Compared with the MaX 7 it gives up two focus streams, Spatial SpeechFocus, the 12 kHz bandwidth and Auto EchoShield - differences you would notice in the very busiest restaurants and echoey halls, and rarely elsewhere.
Signia quotes around 30 hours per charge. A full charge takes about four hours and a 30-minute top-up gives roughly six hours. The Portable Charger Pure 2.0, included with every pair, is a pocket-sized case with a built-in power bank that holds up to four further full charges.

The MaX 5 is a receiver-in-canal hearing aid worn behind the ear, so it is not an invisible device - for that, see the Signia Silk Charge&Go IX. It connects to any phone through Bluetooth Classic or LE Audio and includes a telecoil, but Auracast public audio is not live yet: the hardware is ready and Signia plans to switch it on by firmware update in the first half of 2027, delivered through the Signia One app. The older Signia app does not connect to MaX devices.
Includes Signia's tinnitus toolkit - Notch Therapy, Ocean Waves and static therapy signals - programmed alongside your hearing settings. CROS for single-sided hearing loss is not available on the MaX platform; see Signia CROS IX.
