Hearing Aid Purchases
You understand that the online hearing test, while able to program your hearing aid(s), is not a diagnostic test and does not cover all hearing aspects. The results of the test cannot be regarded as clinical data.
If you have had a test anywhere else within the last 2 years, please request a copy of what is legally your data and email it to contact@pockethearing.com, if at all possible. If you decide to attend an audiology centre for a full diagnostic hearing test at any time, we will update your hearing aid(s) once and free of charge. Further updates will have a fee published on our services page and are subject to change.
We also advise that you have your ears visually inspected and have any earwax removed. You can find a qualified and registered ear care professional at earwaxclinic.co.uk The cost will be £40–£100, depending on the clinic and can be completed following your purchase.
At your convenience, a full telecare consultation will be performed to make sure that a medical referral isn't necessary. However, we may decide to refund your purchase.
Providing this service online and via telecare allows us to provide fully functional hearing aids at a considerably lower cost to you and allows us to commit 30% of company profits to giving the gift of hearing to those without access to hearing care. Thank you for choosing Pocket Hearing.
Your purchase indicates that you agree to the above, have read the advice and are happy for Pocket Hearing to use the outcome of the online test or a supplied audiogram to program your new hearing aid(s).
Hearing Aid Consumable & Battery Purchases
Please note that we can help identify the types and sizes that you need, but consumables are non-refundable once opened due to health and hygiene purposes. Please be sure about your purchase before opening. We will ask you to return the unopened product(s) before anything is replaced. You must return anything within 30 days of your purchase.
Hearing Aid Accessory Purchase
Please note that all hearing aid accessories only have a one-year warranty compared with the standard two-year warranty that comes with all hearing aids. If you wish to return an accessory, it must be returned undamaged within 30 days in all of the original undamaged packaging.
